    Entrepreneurial scientist & inventor pursuing innovation acceleration via cloud technology paradigms. As a Certified Salesforce.com Administrator, Mike leads full life-cycle design, agile management and implementation of custom applications built on Force.com at Canada’s largest strategic implementer of Salesforce.com - Traction on Demand.

     

    Mike's diverse contributions at Traction On Demand have spanned Service Cloud Implementations for multi-billion dollar corporations to Team Lead functions in Strategic Solutions to designing & building custom Force.com apps for <10 user non-profit organizations. Mike has presented his Force.com work at Dreamforce, regional Salesforce events and many Traction-hosted events.


    Prior to Traction On Demand, Mike helped pioneer femtosecond x-ray diffractive imaging. This powerful discovery utilizes x-ray free electron lasers, like the Linac Coherent Light Source, combined with new algorithms to parse Tb datasets to extend x-ray microscopy to the femtosecond time domain and atomic resolution.

    Dr. Bogan’s research has resulted in >80 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and patents including articles in Science, Nature, Nature Physics, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Nature Methods, Physical Review Letters, Nano Letters, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, among others. He has given >30 invited talks in 6 different countries on three continents.

    His research has been supported by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science Basic Energy Sciences through the Chemical Sciences Geosciences and Biosciences Program, the Linac Coherent Light Source, the SLAC Laboratory Directed Research and Development program, and the Human Frontier Science Program.
